About the role
5D Ventures is hiring a Chief Operating Officer to steward day-to-day operations across our venture studio and portfolio support functions.
You will partner with the founding team to build operating rhythms, improve portfolio company outcomes, and scale internal systems as we grow. This role suits someone who has led operations in venture-building, private equity portfolio ops, or high-growth impact ventures.
We're open to full-time or fractional arrangements for the right candidate.
Requirements
• 8+ years in operations leadership (COO, VP Ops, Head of Operations)
• Experience in venture studios, impact investing, or climate/regenerative sectors
• Track record building systems across finance, people, and portfolio support
• Strong written communication and stakeholder management
• Comfort with remote, async collaboration across time zones
