The district's BID, which Cho helped establish, has driven over $1 billion in private investment while maintaining the neighborhood's distinct character and affordability.
"It's not about optimizing for efficiency or maximizing returns at all costs," says Cho. "It's about cultivating a resilient, regenerative ecosystem where everyone can thrive. That's the kind of district-scale impact we look for in our investment strategy at Future of Cities."
